Here is a fantastic vintage fashion plate with 4 ladies and 1 man dressed in their finest clothes. These are from the late 1830's to very early 1840's...

They're not Crinolines(Hoops) Those are just layers upon layers upon layers upon *LAYERS!* of Petticoats, and the Waists are still Long and Tapered("Slim") as they went more to a Higher and Shorter Waist ("Healthy Figured") into the 1850's The other clue is the Men's Coat... It's length is something that wouldn't be any later than 1845. His Hat is an earlier style, too. The Two Gowns on the left are "Afternoon/Walking Dresses" and the Little Girl and Lady with the Gentleman are in Evening/Reception Gowns. . Great color and detail. Measures 10½ x 8 without the 3" matte. Matte is broken in 2 places and small chunk missing from left border. Right border has long chunk missing. Would look great framed. s/h is 6.00 in USA.
