UNTAMED BEAUTY (aka LEOPARD GLOVE) #B11YH97 Franklin Mint Fine Porcelain Figure House Of Erte Sevenarts Ltd Beautiful Art Deco figurine Limited Edition piece of Erte Greek Inspired Costumes. She is also hand-painted with glittering accents from Sevenarts Ltd, West Germany. She has stunning details, including leopard patterned gloves on her hands. Her gown and Winged Mercury hat are adorned with some red drapery material, based on the 1934 Play 'Au Temps des Merveilleuses' by Albert Villemetz, loosely translated as 'marvelously fine ladies'. These Greek antiquity inspired ladies were popular after the French Revolution. See the FM collector plate by the same name elsewhere on this site. The 24k karat gold plated detail accents enhance her striking pose. SHE STANDS A LITTLE UNDER 10 in. & 5 in. at the base and is hand numbered and was issued in an edition strictly limited to 45 firing days. Weight: approx. 2 1/2 lbs.
