Here’s a set of six coins minted in 1971, including an Eisenhower silver dollar, Kennedy half dollar, Washington quarter, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel and Lincoln penny. All are encased in a special Whitman plastic holder. (6312)
Many people give coin sets like these as birthday keepsakes for youngsters (or older ‘kids’) who were born in the year the coin was minted or who have another special occasion to commemorate in that year! They’re from a local estate, and though we’re not coin dealers, we’ve described them as best we can – and include pictures to help you judge them. Please feel free to ask if we’ve left something out! The coins have been circulated, so may have a few scratches or light scuffs. We didn’t clean or polish these because many collectors prefer to use their own methods.
