Outstanding hand made tile, reminiscent of glazes by Pewabic Pottery, Detroit, Michigan. Red clay faience body, this has a wonderful Arts & Crafts design of 4 oak leaves and acorns. Very nice relief - black glaze base with a gold iridescent lustre glaze applied on top. Measures 5 3/4" square by 3/4" thick. One very small corner glaze chip - generally very nice to excellent condition. Date and maker unknown. (#1668)
