Circa: 1930? Condition: Used Size: 12 inches long Manufacturer: Hand Made
Here is what we know as fact: This is an old knife with a copper handle. Here is what we are 99% certain of: It is a knife handmade from a saw blade with a copper tube handle. Most likely this knife was made during the 1930’s. This handmade knife measures 12" long overall with a 7 ¾" blade. The copper handle is 1 1/8" wide. You can see the file marks from when this knife was made. We have called the condition Good as there is pitting from rust and tarnish and scratches to the handle. However, we feel for a primitive knife, made out of necessity during a very difficult time in our history, it is Perfect. This would be a unique addition to your Depression Era or knife collection. |
