When this item came in pop asked me if i knew what it was. Of couse i had no clue, But i took a wild guess and told him it looked like a large bird perch. Boy was i wrong. This 1910s clothing agitator was used for washing clothing. They would put it in the wash tub and move it up and down. there is a places in the center for the water and air to come up through.
