For sale is a patented antique crib blanket tieback. c:1928. Very unique antique! Being sold for display only, not for use. You have probably have never seen one of these before! This is a metal animal figurine with patent dates: Jan. 17, 1928 & Pat. Pend. Good condition and is 3.75 long x 2 tall. The bottom lever pulls down, and the animals mouth opens; you attach the bottom of the crib blanket to his mouth, then tie the rope to the end of the crib so the blanket doesn't creep up around the baby's head. I would not suggest actually using this device as a baby could scoot around and get his head caught in the rope. But, it really is an interesting antique. |
