For sale are three awesome primitive antique kitchen collectibles. c: late 19th, early 20th C. First is an antique Maple wood primitive wooden lemon squeezer w/turned handle. c:late 19th C. See L. Franklin's book, pg. 42, & Am. Heritage cookbook featuring colonial recipes and pics of antiques. Good antique condition; is 11 long x 2.5 wide. This might be considered 'treen' by some collectors. See pg. 41 book on treen by Anne Forty. Next is an antique primitive press. It is either a cookie or sausage press, it has a turned wood dowel center and a heavy-duty metal casing. The metal end piece comes off when you turn it; there are little slots where the hooks fit to release it for cleaning. Bottom has a cutout design on it. It is 10.75 long x 1.75 wide. Last is a vintage wood butter print; shown on pg. 21 of the book on Treen by A. Forty. This unique item has an incised leaf pattern on the roller; good condition, and is 9.5 long x 2.5 wide. Great items for the serious kitchen collector! |
