Manufacturer: Unknown Pictured on one side is a Radial railway car, 1912 with from left to right Metropolitan employees Dutch Schmidt, Bill Ellison and Harry Holman. This is car number 56 Toronto and Sutton.
On the other side are Radial cars at Bond Lake, c. 1914. Excursions by radial car to Bond Lake, just south of Aurora, were favourite summer pastimes. There the company operated a spacious park and picnic pavilion.
The Toronto & York Radial Railway Company (T&YRR) was formed in 1898 as a subsidiary to the Toronto Railway Company by William Mackenzie with The Schomberg & Aurora Railway extending between the rural communities of Oak Ridges (where Bond Lake is located) and Schomberg. This line was no longer in use as of June 1927.

This came from part of an estate from a gentleman who collected Aurora and Newmarket Ontario Canada paper, ephemera, collectibles etc. and included scrapbooks, framed pictures, clippings from books and much more.
This piece was identified as coming from a circa 1980's book and measures 10 x 8 inches.
