For sale are great looking vintage tole painted metal candleholders. Both for one price!. Very attractive and look like they are antique, but were repainted in the 1940's. One of them is signed 'Redecorated in 1947 by Charlotte M. Cooke' in gold script. Other one appears to have been repainted also. Both are in good vintage condition and have eyeholes for hanging. Repainting old metal objects was very common; nothing was ever tossed out! |
