Bonded Seller offers this large and heavy (2 lbs.,6 ozs. avoir.) Sanborn Sterling entre server with lid. It is 12 1/2 in. long and 8 1/2 in. wide. Hand hammered handmade sterling possibly from the 1940's-1950's, has a tiny lozenge shape mark on the bottom of the permanently divided bottom dish, which says Sanborn Sterling and has the owl mark. The double-handled lid can also be used as a serving item. Classic simple fluted design would grace your Early American, Colonial or 18th Century dining service. Excellent size for dinner/buffet serving. Condition: no dents, no scrapes, no pitting, typical very minor (and few of them) faint scratches. Price is for the server complete with lid. |
