This adorable Limited First Edition Plate from the Peanuts Family Collector Series featuring Linus was designed by Charles Schultz and released by TM Schmid in 1972. Linus has a big red rose in his hand and a smile. Mother's Day 1972 is printed around bottom of plate and signed Schulz. On the back it is marked: The Peanuts Family Collector Series/Limited First Edition 1972/Mother's Day Plate/Designed and Created by Charles Schulz/1972 United Features Syndicate, Inc. with a paper label that says Made in Japan. In the original box which has some wear, the 7 1/2 inch plate has 2 tiny marks on the rim that the color did not take under the glaze.
