Antique Weir crock with patent date Mar 1, 1892. Two tone with beige lower and chocolate brown top. Bail closure is in excellent working order. Glaze of beige portion is crazed but no chips or cracks. One blemish on top edge of beige as shown in photo. When the lid is removed you can see a flake and could be a hairline crack or maybe just a scratch. Hard to tell. It does not show on inside. Height measures 7.5 inches. Diameter of the opening is 3. 25 inches. Overall good condition for the age. |
