Scale made by H Pooley Birmingham England. The cast iron base still has some of the original paint. The tin basin was originally painted white but much of the surface is pitted now so that the tin shows through. It includes 3 weights. 1 pound, 8 ounce and 4 ounce. The weights are loaded on one side to offset the material placed in the basin.

| The basin measures 12 inches long and 7.5 inches wide. The cast iron base measures 9 inches long and 8 inches high. The counter balance is smooth and works well. This is a wonderful nostalgia piece from the general store days of our history. |
