Vintage WALTCO U.S.A. Folding Hunting Knife. This is a rare, U.S. made folding hunting knife,called: "SAF-T-SHEATH Outdoor Knife A WALTCO Product".
In the closed position, it is 4 5/8" long, has a 3 7/8" blade, & is 8 1/4" long in the open position.

The blade has been sharpened with care, using a fine stone & possibly a Crocus cloth, but shows aging stains & patina marks on both sides.
The blade is imprinted with "WALTCO SAF-T-SHEATH" & "Made In U.S.A."
The handle has maroon phenolic inserts that are perfect, without cracks or scratches, enclosed within chrome. A clip at the end of the handle locks the knife firmly into closed or open position. In the closed position the chromed handle also has the knife identification on both sides. While the knife is a used instrument, it is in excellent condition.
