A very nice, used, CASE XX fixed blade hunter knife with it's original CASE leather sheath for your review.
The knife is 9 1/2" in length with a 5 1/8" blade. The blade has not been sharpened or used & it has a mirror finish throughout. It has a blood groove & is hollow ground.

The tang is inscribed with "CASE XX USA" on one side & "216-5" on the other side. The blade has no rust, dings, scratches, rust, pitting or patination.
The finger guard, pommel & 2 spacers in the handle are aluminum. The handle is finger grooved hard black rubber & has some scratches. There is a 1/4" crack in the black rubber at the finger guard. This does not show up in the photos.
The original heavy black cowhide sheath is in good to excellent condition & the snap on the safety strap is fully functional.
This is one of the nicest older CASE XX hunting knives we have seen in a long time & except for the tiny defect in the handle, we would call the knife in excellent to mint condition.
The knife would be a great addition to a collection of quality knives or a perfect side piece for a discerning sportsman. |
