Circa: 1958 Condition: Used Manufacturer: Ghana Philatelic Agency 1958 Talking Drums of Ghana First Day Cover FDC. This First Day of Issue envelope is printed and postmarked May 26, 1958 and has the four colored Gold Coast Stamps commemorating Ghana Independence on March 6th 1957. The envelope is naturally yellow and is sealed. We have three at the time of listing.

| Each is also stamped with a May 26, 1958 New York NY Registry Div. stamping, plus an oval purple stamping indicating Day of Issue and containing a graphic design with two eagles, the words Freedom and Justice, a star, and a shield. Each has a blue on white rectangular Registry No from Accra-B. The numbers are 3504, 5208, and 5209. If you have a preference, please let us know and we will accomodate based on which are available at the time of your order. stamps are in excellent condition. Envelopes are in very good condition with a clean front and very light darkening along pressure points on the back.
