This is a vintage metal sad iron stand. It is marked, Standard Iron Rest, Asbestos Insulated, Made In USA. It was made to clip to the end of the ironing board. there is minor wear to the metal as seen in the pictures. It is a great piece of nostalgia for a kitchen or laundry room. However, I took mine, drilled a hole in the top, hung it in my foyer , and it's now a vintage sad iron key and bill holder. |
