Limited Edition Post Office First Day Cover. The Royal Wedding, the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer at St. Paul's Cathedral, 29 July 1981. This set includes the Post Office First Day Cover designed by Jeffery Matthews, numbered 02501, stamped First Day of Issue London EC 22 July 1981; legal tender cupro-nickel crown coin; 25p and 14p stamps designed by Jeffery Matthews; commemorative biographical wedding card written by Charity Boxall and envelope. Postmark depicts the St. Paul's Cathedral, site of the Royal Wedding. Both stamps reflect the official wedding portrait of Prince Charles and Lady Diana. Crown coin obverse side features the traditional image of reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse side features images of the Royal Couple. Excellent condition.
