AWSUM 1940'S 20" WOOD TOY BUS MADE IN GERMANY, US ZONE
<p>Look at this absolutely AWSUM, 1940's toy bus. It was made in Germany, US Zone, which was an area occupied by the US, at the end of World War II. The bus measures 20" long, by 8" high, by 6" wide. It is made of WOOD! As seen in the pics, the side doors, slide open.

The windows have an acetate plastic to simulate glass. The acetate is missing from the rear side windows, behind the side doors. The top of the bus comes off for access to the inside of the bus. The chrome detail you see is metal. This bus is in as found condition. As you can see there is paint wear on the body. The tires are marked Dunlop 67x17, and are made of hard rubber. There is no manufacturers name. This is a great hard to find 60+year old toy, and will make an AWSUM addition to any Bus or Toy collection.
