This antique English biscuit barrel dates to around 1910. Made of oak, it has silverplated bands, handle, and shield decoration. It's 6" tall without the handle by 5" diameter at the base. Stamped E.P.N.S. near the upper rim.
The barrel has no liner and has lost its lid, therefore the bargain price. Great displayable storage or shelf item.
