This small charm is in the shape of a running horse and is off an old tobacco pouch. This racehorse is white. It measures 1 inch long and has a metal ring on the top of its saddle for attaching to a chain. This charm is made of celluloid or early plastic. Japan is molded onto the horse’s belly. Tobacco Pulls were attached to the strings on a tobacco bag or pouch and used to pull the bag closed. These celluloid or early plastic charms were also attached to bread ties, hams or other items as premiums. These old tobacco pulls make great charms for a charm bracelet.
