A chartreuse highly glazed planter with wide ribs, sits inside of a brass open worked base in this television lamp. The light is in back of the planter. The planter is bottom incised Maddux of Calif., Los Angeles #3006. There is a paper on the metal base which reads, Underwriters’ Laboratories Inc., Inspected, Portable Lamp, Issue No. 1377. There is a bit of pitting on the base, but does not detract from the lamp. The overall measurement of the lamp is 6 ¼ in. high, a curved 2 in. wide and 9 ¾ in. long.
