The first valentine appears to be the older of the two. It depicts a cupid overlooking a boy and girl in the winter. The caption says "Why Not Mistletoe on Valentine's Day." Someone long ago penciled over the "Why Not Mis...". The back is signed "To Dorothy From Edith."
The second one depicts a blonde boy whispering into a little girl's ear "Be my Valentine. Can't you Hear? I am whispering in your little pink ear." The back is signed "Carol from Bobby Wilson." |
