This is a nice clean 8" long telephone line pliers marked "NO. 17-3 NICOPRESS TOOL THE NATIONAL TELEPHONE SUPPLY CO. CLEVELAND OHIO MADE IN U.S.A. DES. PAT. 116.745" in the steel near the pivot joint. The jaws are onel about 1/8" wide, and have a 1/8" diameter opening just behind the front part of the jaw. Very simple design. In good+ condition with a very snug pivot joint, no rust, very little pitting noted, not bent or damaged. A rare style pliers! |
