This is a nice vintage split jointed mouth bit, with swival joints on the ends of the mouth bit, and well constructed double rings on the swival sections ends. The double ring sections measure 9" long from end to end, and the mouth bit section is 6.2" end to end, or 5" clearence in between the double ring sections. This bit was originally 100% nickel plated, some of the nickel plating has worn off, but about 80% remains, well intact. This bit is in good useable condition, no rust, no damage, good quality!
