Jeannette Glass Company produced this figural elephant powder jar with its trunk up circa 1930s – 1950s. It is approximately 4.75 inches tall and the base opening is approximately 3.87 inches in diameter and has horizontal ribs. It is in good condition with no nicks, chips or cracks, there are the usual manufacturer defects of pin point inclusion bubbles, straw marks. The lids, inside lip appears to have something in the glass, at first we thought it might have a chip, but it is smooth to the touch and has an iridescent bubble look to it. But it still is a beautiful glass powder jar that is becoming harder to find. |
