I was told this was for playing a game called Skittles. Not sure...it is a small container with little scenes including a little rat or mouse on 2 sides and a ball and little pins on the other two sides, with one of the 2 showing the pins getting hit by the ball. Very cool, marked Germany on the bottom. Looks like brass, early to mid 1900s, about 3" tall, 2 7/8" square at the base.
