We believe this to be a reproduction pin, pinback or campaign button for the 1952 Presidential Election campaign of Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The button is red, white and blue with "I LIKE IKE" printed in blue on a white band on the topside. It is round, measuring about 7/8 inch in diameter with the pin portion on the backside sticking out slightly further, and having a depth of about 1/8 inch. It is metal with a blank backside. Around the edge of the pin is printed "Eisenhower 1952", two seals which we believe are meant to represent union manufacturing seals with "7L" next to one of them, and "A O 1972 29". It is the appearance of the 1972 date which leads us to believe this is a reproduction piece.
We have provided two images, one with a dime to better communicate size. Please note that the camera lighting is blanding out the coloring of this pinback. The blue on this button is a true navy blue, much darker than the lighter royal blue coloring shown in the images. The red coloring is also more intense in person. Overall, the blue and red are in person the traditional "red, white and blue" colorings, rather than those appearing in the images. The white "hot spots" in the images are also reflections from the camera lighting on the glossy surface.
Condition is acceptable but definitely not mint. There are signs of wear and age including a horizontal scratch through the word "Ike" extending the width of the pin (it is a light line but definitely there), blue smudging on the white, many other tiny scratches, many pin/pit dots/dotting wear, other small wear spots, several tiny spots where the colored surface has been worn away, scratches on the interior of the backside, etc.
Still could be used to help complete a collection of campaign pins, and has been priced to reflect the condition described.
