From my own collection, circa early to mid 1900s, all handmade of organic materials like bone and semi precious gemstones, about 6.5" by 4" and 1.5" high. Wonderful workmanship, a piece of art. Inlay design looks like little stars, star of David type.
Even the bottom and inside of the box is beautiful. Appears to be from the mid east, like Persia (Iraq).
