From my own collection, early 1900s, approx. 6" by 5" by 2 3/4" high, hinged, mirrored inside, red cloth exterior which is aged and original, interior also original, worn but acceptable satin lining, mirror is in superb condition with minimal wear.
Most superb part of the box is the Egyptian motif handle with classic Egyptiana, two King Tut raised metal busts on each side of the handle.

Very nice, rare!
Box is sold as found and is all original and for any purist, a true find with expected aging and wear. Good vintage condition, a great piece for a dresser as a trinket box or other uses. |
