A magnificent example of early 1900's, Art Noveau, Art Deco jewelry. This is unsigned but bears a Pat. Pending number on each and every station of the necklace and also a series of numbers on the back (top) of the centre circle. The Diamante paste rhinestones are multifaceted and claw set, closed back setting on rhodium plate. The stones are graduated in size at each station including the centre circle where the stones are slightly smaller at the top of the circle than at the bottom. This beautiful lavaliere style necklace has a total of eight stations, including the centre circle. The vertical stations measure 17m in height (with smaller stones at the top,) and the centre circle is 1/2 inch in diameter. The clasp is a slip lock roller barrel and is marked silver. The chain is also silver but needs cleaning, however I have left in original condition with patina consistent with age. The total length is 16 inches, not including the drop lavaliere.
