From my personal collection for about 25 yrs, purchased from original owner, never offered before, smoke free environment.
Circa 1920s-30s, signed Mandalian, appro 6" by 9".
Beautiful orange and black butterfly design on front and back with white background. Silver filigree handle. cobalt glass sapphire cabachon clasp, no lining.
Good vintage condition, minimal enamel loss, not perfect though...underneath hinges some of the mesh is detached, on one side is a very old place where the mesh was mended with some thread. Very unnoticeable...displays beautifully, sold as found, priced accordingly. NICE and RARE! $500 or more if absolutely perfect.
