We have decided to part with these wonderful Lamps after many years of use.

These Lamps are a wonderful example of the Art Deco Era depicting two Figurals kneeling while holding up the Flame Globes. They are very hard to find Lamps. In our opinion both are in excellent condition with no problems whatsoever, but we are noting the following for perspective buyers.
The face on one of the lamps carries a mark on the side of one cheek that we always felt indicated the Male, while the other represented a Female. It may be a manufacturing flaw as it appears to us to have always been there and upon close inspection you can clearly see that it is not from any damage. We can find no manufacturer marks on the lamps but they are guaranteed to be old. A Magnet does not stick to them leading us to believe they are Bronze.
We updated the cords years ago so we would feel safe to use them. We feel the cords are still in very usable condition, but buyer must decide for themselves. The metal pull cords have also been replaced along with the nuts above their heads which are both minor but feel we should mention. There are no dents or chips. The detail is just Fabulous. Flowers, Vines, Leaves, and a Fleur De Lis on the fronts of their clothing. Awesome when Lit.
They have always reminded us of the Olympic Flame Bearers and may actually been manufactured to represent the Olympics that were held in Chamonix, France in 1924.
