This is a vintage bottle which is marked Dr. Ward's on one side and Winona, Minnesota on the other. No chips or cracks are noted. It has no top. It could have originally held some kind of home remedy or manufactured medicine but I don't really know for sure. It is a 12 ounce bottle and is 8.5 inches tall. The bottle has the Owens Illinois mark on the bottom. This Dr. Ward's medicine bottle would really accent any country or rustic kitchen.
