| Very unusual Cordial Holder or Stand with space for 6 Cordial Cups and a Cordial Decanter. We were told this is Steiff Silver and judging by the decorative appearence it may very well be, but we could find no mark on it to confirm. There is wear to the base where one of the cordial cups would sit which is a small area about the size of the tip of a finger, shown directly below the Horse in the first photo. The detail on the Horse Head is fabulous as is the Leave and Vine decoration around the Horse and the edges of the stand. There is the Letter C underneath the Horse and a Lucky Horse Shoe around his neck with riding gear on both sides all in raised impression. This piece would make a fantastic display for a Sterling Silver Cordial Set with Decanter and six cups. Especially nice if the letter C relates to the new owner. Just a Fabulous Find and should polish up nicely. |
