Very Old Antique Cast Iron Mirror on Stand decorated with Bird Head Handles in what we would consider Mint Condition for its age. The mirror is crisp and clear with no damage. The stand is perfect. There is even a little Cherub on top that is surrounded by 2 bouquets of Shabby Roses. Over the years the original paint probably wore off and it was repainted a Flat Shabby Creamy White which it carries well.

It actually helps all the details on the piece stand out better. The handles have a Great Bird Head design on each side holding the mirror portion in place. Flowers around the perimeter of the glass actually hold the mirror itself in place. Sturdy and solid with a wood back and original clips. Number impressed on the back handle JM 9.
