| Included are a swival knife, barker, pear shader, backround tools, turn back, shell tool, camouflage tool and others. Most of the tools already listed, are the same as in the "WILDER & CO. LEATHER" catalog that is included. The catalog is a 4 page type with a copyright date of 1954. The back page mention a "CRAFTOOL" and a price list from the 1950's. There is also some "CRAFTAID" belts, key cases, pocket secretaries, and wallets kits listed in this catalog. The page on the backround and forming tools is very good for defining the right tool for the application. All the tools with the bright chrome finish are believed to be from the Wilder Co., there are 12 of them total, plus two rosewood handled tools, one is a skiving tool (no name on it, good solid handle, has a tight grain seperation, fits tightly, may need shapening, as the two ends on the box are sharp, but that lower center section is not real sharp. The other tool is an unknown type but is marked "C.S. OSBORNE & CO." on the curved shank. There is also two star wheel type spacing tools, the one with the ebony black handle is very good, but needs a new wheel (there is a removeable screw holding it in place), and the other with the maroon hardwood handle is in very good shape with a top quality rounded point star wheel, and really nice turning on the shank. This one has a very good handle, really nice tool for hole spacings! The roll is very clean, 15" long overall. We are also including a wallet kit that has been tooled already, and has the intials CT on it, and has the templates in the original envolope. The wallet is clean but need to have the sections stitched together. A very nice set of leather tooling/working tools! |
