For sale are rare antique bronze clad Thinker bookends. c:1920's. Gorgeously detailed, great patina, and hard to find! They are 8 inches tall x 3.5 wide. Incised mark: Le Penseur Par Rodin. One of them has 2 breaks in the bronze plating; the breaks are near the man's pelvis and elbow; they are hard to spot because they are towards the center of the figurine see pic #6. The tears in the plating are not unusual due to the all the detail and crevices. These are outstanding, heavy bookends despite the minor flaws. Your man would love these in his office!
