The Unisphere was a symbol of the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair, dedicated to man's aspirations toward Peace Through Understanding and symbolized achievements in an expanding universe. This souvenir metal coaster has a top diameter of about 4 inches and a bottom diameter of about 2-7/8 inches. It measures about 5/8 inches deep. The gold trim has some oxidation and pitting. The back offers the story of the Unisphere, presented by United States Steel.
