Pair of Lion Bookends. Very heavy Cast Iron Bookends. Measure 4 1/2 in. x 2 in. x 3 3/4 in. Inside edge of both are marked B&H. Underside of these have the original green felt and one has a paper label that says Barye: Born at Paris 1795, died there 1875. Famous French sculptor of animals. Both ends are in excellent condition. Would make a fine addition to one's collection of Lion's or Bookends.
