Manufacturer: Vintage 1940's - 1950's Moose 300-B-L Deluxe Sewing Machine
This is a wonderful heavy duty vintage machine! This machine was made by Moose and dates to 1940's to 1950's era, Model number 300 B-L Deluxe. This machine has several wonderful features including a knob that can be turned to adjust from regular stitch to silk and embroidery.
It has several different bobbins/parts which are shown in the picture and comes in the original case. The machine is in good condition, it has a sewing shop sticker on it so has been serviced at some time, looks like one of the cords has been replaced, motor runs smoothly and quietly. The case in not in very good condition but is original, also needs to have a new needle.
I don't have the original instruction booklet but you can most likely find one somewhere online, overall size of the machine is about 18" long by 9" wide by 12" tall. The case is also is not in very good condition, the bottom is still solid, top shows a lot of wear and the latches do not work properly. This is a very heavy, solid machine, weight for just the machine is about 33 pounds. It would be a wonderful addition to your collection or perfect for sewing!
