This listing is for a book of poems titled Dryden's Poems. Inside title page states The Poetical Works of John Dryden Chicago and New York: Belford, Clarke & Company Publishers. The reverse of this page has, in fine print, Trow's Printing And Bookbinding Company, New York. There is no year indicated. We believe this book dates to about 1875 to 1892 as we can find no information on either company beyond that timeframe. Every page has a red border and the edges are gold. The cover is 4 color tooled with gold flowers, red & tan background, and black lettering and scroll work. The binding is weak but intact and there is slight wear to the corners of the hardcover. This book of Dryden poems measures 5 1/4 by 7 1/2 inches and is 559 pages long. Scattered throughout the book are prints to accompany the poems. Look at the photos. This book of Dryden's Poems is one for the collector.
