Manufacturer: American Revolution Bicentennial Commission - San Francisco Mint
Issued by the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission. Medal is uncirculated condition, sterling silver (.925 pure silver), and encased in a plastic holder. Medal is 1 1/2" diameter. Encased metal inserts in black plastic outer holder which is housed in a leatherette covered snap-open container. Descriptive flyer insert included, all as originally issued by the San Francisco Mint.
Medal depicts Samuel Adams and Patrick Henry on the obverse, and the reverse side depicts the Committees of Correspondence, whose purpose was to inform each other and the Americans of British actions against American liberties.
