Fabulous bright yellow 2 handled bowl or trophy compote or urn. Made by the U.S Glass in the 1930s this glass is very Art Deco in appearance and in wonderful condition.
Listed in orange and black as U.S. Glass, No. 179 on page #338 of the Great American Glass of the Roaring 20s and Depression Era by Measell and Wiggins.
It is Tiffin Glass line no. 15179 shape. Tiffin was one of the U.S.Glass companies.
The paint of this marvelous 10.0 across top and 6.25 inches tall bowl is a fired-on color and in excellent condition. The flowers are clear outlined with black.
