Collector Bookstore is a retailer of new books located in Leavenworth, Kansas. We specialize in price guides and reference books for the antiques and collectibles industry. For three decades beginning in 1909 Kewpies dolls reigned in the world of dolls. Appearing first as paper dolls, they quickly morphed into actual dolls and finally appeared in every sort of conceivable object form including dishes, trinkets, sewing novelties and even wall-hanging pennants. Over 500 objects related to Kewpie and Rose O'Neill, who designed the Kewpie, appear in this 144 page full color book representing the single-owner world-class Kewpie collection of Rose Marie Willruth of Lancaster, Massachusetts.
