Rare Figgjo Norway Santa Claus Christmas Porcelain Platter. Figgjo Porcelain is made and based in the municipality of Sandnes, Norway. It was founded in 1941 and specializes in vitrified china for the domestic and professional catering markets. This pattern is a seldom seen one, most of their patterns feature white porcelain pieces with different styles of handles and embossed styles although they do have some patterns with modern deco style colors. This platter is perfect for cookies or any other holiday treat, it is 15 1/2 inches long by 10 1/2 inches across. Santa holds his bag full of toys, it is in excellent condition, no chips and no signs of use, marked on the back with the Figgjo backstamp as well as an embossed mark. It would be a fabulous addition to your holiday table!
