This item is a Native American woven Basket made by the Papago Indians of Arizona. This Basket probably was made in the late 1970's or early 1980's. I believe it is made of woven wicker and done in what is called the Wheat Pattern. Thgis Basket is about 12 inches across and 2 and 1/2 inches high. It is in excellent condition.
