This item is a wonderful Native American woven Wedding Basket made by the Navajo Indians of Arizona. It was probably made during the late 1970's. This Basket is about 12 inches across and 2 and 1/2 inches high. It has a beautiful 6 point star in the center surrounded by a red circle and then geometric type designs radiating outward. This Basket has Spirit Break from one of the star points to the outside. This was to allow the Spirit of the weaver to leave the basket after it was completed. The Basket is in Excellent condition.
