Ready to frame. This very excellent condition 19th century full page supurb engraving is taken directly from the immortal masterpiece "Madonna dell Granduca" circa 1505 painted by Raffaello Sanzio Raphael(1483-1520), best known for his Madonnas. This engraving is removed from an 1899 copyright book titled "The Light of the World, Our Saviour in Art, A Book without Words...Every Picture a Sermon" which contains over 100 full page engravings of the world's greatest masterpieces. A copy of this book is in the Smithsonian Library. The full page measures 9 1/4" X 11" and the engraving is 5" X 7" and comes with the original guard sheet with descriptive letterpress.
